📚 Printables for Teachers + Kids!

Hi Reader!

Fun fact: before I had kids, I was actually a first grade teacher - and I truly loved it. Those years in the classroom hold some of my favorite memories, and honestly, I think they shaped so much of who I am today (even as a blogger!). I’ve always said that teaching was the perfect training ground for blogging. It’s still about helping others, just in a different space (and without the morning bell!).

Because of that, I have such a deep appreciation for educators and the work they do every single day. That love runs deep here on the blog, and I’ve created a handful of resources just for teachers: printables, tools, and thoughtful ways to make the school year a little easier and more fun. If you're a teacher (or love one), you’ll want to check these out!

Out of all the teacher resources I’ve shared, this teacher planner is hands-down the most popular - and with good reason. It’s a comprehensive collection of printable pages designed to help educators stay organized all year long. Whether you're looking for a place to map out lessons, keep track of grades, manage classroom details, or just get everything in one spot, this planner has you covered.

Inside, you’ll find a grade book, lesson planning templates, class lists, schedules, and plenty more helpful pages to build the ultimate teacher notebook. I made it with real classroom needs in mind, based on what I used and loved when I was teaching.

Best of all? It’s completely free to download - just print what you need and get started.

(Don't forget - you already have access to my printable collection...no need to sign up again on this post! Just click here and enter the password LLPrintables (case sensitive) to access these files.)

I also have another teacher planner I shared a few years back. While a few of the pages may be slightly outdated, there’s still a ton of helpful content inside to support your classroom organization. And just like the newer version, this one is completely free to download and use!

Let’s take it all the way back to 2009 with a post about my very first classroom setup! I poured so much heart and energy into that space - it was my happy place during those early teaching years. This post is one of those old-school gems from my personal blogging days that I just can’t bring myself to delete.

It’s full of jungle-themed classroom decor, snapshots of what made that room special, and a whole lot of first-year teacher excitement. Plus, if you’ve ever wondered what my blogging looked like when I was just starting out…you’ll get the full (slightly cringey) picture 😬.

Another teacher favorite on the blog is this printable “favorite things” form. It’s the perfect little list to send with your child on the first day of school, so you’ll know exactly what to get when it’s time for gifts later in the year. A super simple way to make sure you’re giving something your teacher will truly enjoy!

One of the newest resources on the blog is this set of printable reading logs for kids. With eight different versions to choose from - like book logs, minute trackers, and weekly reading charts - it’s easy to find one that fits your child's reading goals and routine. They're a simple way to build good habits and make reading feel like a fun accomplishment!

Here's to an amazing school year! I hope you teachers get lots of use out of these cute printables.
